... the Secular Student Alliance At UT Austin aims to foster a community of non-theist students who are committed to reason, critical inquiry, secular human-based ethics, and the separation of Church and State.
Our goals are to: Promote scientific education; Contribute to society through community service; Cooperate with other groups of both similar and dissimilar viewpoints to foster understanding and communication

We have zero prerequisites for joining our organization. Whether you consider yourself Secular, Atheist, Agnostic or Humanist, the Secular Student Alliance at The University of Texas at Austin has a place for you. Even if you don't subscribe to any particular label, or if you refuse to be defined by a single word, students like you are what make the SSA great.
We are a service organization first and foremost. Therefore we are very committed to enforcing a positive image of Secularism and Atheism by being active in the UT and Austin communities while promoting good ethics through student-led activism and charity work.
We are not, as some might imply, the military arm of Atheist students at UT. Though we wish to peacefully engage other student organizations on campus, we will not tolerate disrespectful and ill-mannered behavior.
Meeting days and time: Mondays, 6pm - 8pm
Location: PAR 1 (Click here for building map)
Membership Dues: $10 per academic year (these are not enforced, but they help fund organization events and activities)
